Your remarkable performance during the last years has been just crowned by your achievement in this match. I do not doubt that you have brought joy to your numerous fans not only in Norway but throughout the world.
Such event cannot happen without a huge amount of team work, effort and commitment, and we have seen all three in action in the lead-in period to the event and throughout these days. My special words of gratitude to your family – it is their endless energy, initiative, persistence and wish that made this possible.
On behalf of the World Chess Federation I wish you the best of health, happiness and more brilliant victories in your chess career!
