The FIDE World Youth & Cadets Championship 2015 continued after the rest day here in Porto Carras, Halkidiki.
Mosadeghpour Masoud from Iran continued the winning row in the Open U18 group and is now full point ahead of the nearest followers.
WFM Mahalakshmi M of India is leading the Girls U18 with 5,5 points. Her compatriot Varshini V, Velikic Adela and WFM Khomeriki Nino are half a point behind.
FM Fawzy Adham of Egypt emerged clear leader in the Open U16 group after defeating the direct opponent FM Santos Ruiz Miguel. Meanwhile, WFM Abdusattorova Bakhora retained the top position in Girls U16.
The overnight leader in Open U14, FM Shevchenko Kirill, lost his game and is replaced by Lobanov Sergei and Vokhidov Shamsiddin, who are on 5,5 points each. With same points WFM Vaishali R and Badelka Olga are on top in Girls U14.
Top seed in Open U12, FM Abdusattorov Nodirbek, conceded a first draw and is now caught by CM Muradli Mahammad. Yip Carissa (USA) maintained the perfect score in Girls U12, leaving the nearest followers a full point behind.
Both U10 sections are closely contested. In the Open, CM Nguyen Quoc Hy VIE, CM Sadhwani Raunak IND, FM Praggnanandhaa R IND and Wang Justin USA share the first place with 5,5 each.With the same points WFM Divya Deshmukh IND and WCM Mungunzul Bat-Erdene MGL are leading in the Girls section.
The Indian players are dominating the U8 sections. In the Open on the top are CM Dev Shah IND (6,0) and Bharath Subramaniyam H IND (5,5). Among the Girls the leaders are Savitha Shri B IND (6,0) and WCM Prathivya Gupta IND (5,5).
