This was IM Larry Kaufman (on is on the left) during his last round’s game at the 2008 U.S. Senior Open in Boca Raton. He won to clinch the title and qualified to represent the U.S. in the World Senior Championship.
After 10 of 11 rounds of the World Senior Championship, IM Kaufman is in clear first and he will have White in the last game. If he wins this World Championship, he will automatically earn the GM title. Good luck to IM Kaufman and special thanks to FM Savage for sending me the info!
