I am so happy to see 7 Susan Polgar Foundation Girl’s Invitational alumnae back to visit! Some played 1st SPFGI back in 2005! A few are in college. Most graduated and they are now embarking on fantastic professional careers! I could not be prouder of all these incredible young ladies!

For old time sake, they played some chess. Aiya Cancio won it with the score of 8.5 / 10, followed by Alexandra Botez with 7.5 / 10.

On Sunday at 9 am, Alexandra Botez, Alexandra Wiener, and Rebecca Lelko had a chat session with the 70 SPFGI qualifiers this year. They discussed about how chess changed their lives, academically and professionally. They offered many great practical experience using chess to open countless doors.
