Turkey İş Bank Chess League R10

In the 10th round the leader of the Turkey İş Bank League, Isek Aquamatch Sport Club lost the key match against the main opponent in the championship Yapi Kredi Sport Club with a 5.5-4.5 score.
The fate of the match was determined on the last boards between Turkish juniors while players on the top boards from won their games – Rustam Kasimdzhanov against Mikhail Gurevich, Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu against Gamil Agamaliev, Levan Pantsulaia against Logman Guliev.
The result of the match proved that Turkish Clubs, in comparison with other national leagues, have to take care of their lower boards as well as of the leading boards.
Aquamatch Sport Club still keeps the leading position 2 points ahead of Yapi Kredi Sport Club and Adana Truva Sport Club which managed to win today against Besiktas Club with a 5.5-4.5 result.
The Turkey İş Bank Chess League 2011 is taking place 27 June – 09 July in the Konya-Hilton Garden Inn Otel. It is one of the top club competitions of Europe, featuring 36 grandmasters and 86 titled players.
