Ukraine to hold World Championship Match Mariya Muzychuk – Hou Yifan

FIDE delegation led by President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited Lviv to accept the application from the Ukrainian Chess Federation to hold the Women’s World Championship Match.
FIDE delegation met with Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi, Minister of Youth and Sports Igor Zhdanov, Vice Governor of Lviv oblast Yuri Pidlisny, Women’s World Champion GM Mariya Muzychuk and her sister GM Anna Muzychuk.
FIDE President also met with the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in the Pototsky Palace to discuss the issues related to the match organization. At the suggestion of FIDE President, the Organizing Committee will be headed by the President of Ukraine.
