The 2015 Belgium Chess Championship was held from July 4-12, at the Sports Hall Schelle, located in the Belgian province of Antwerp.
The event was a 9-round Swiss tournament with prize fund in total of € 10,000.
Romanian player GM Levente Vajda was convincing with 8,5/9 points, leaving the runner-up, FM Gorik Cools of Belgium, 1,5 points behind.
The third place was shared in an eight-way tie by FM Bruno De Jonghe, Nathan De Strycker, Wouter Ghyselen, Thierry Penson, FM Daniel Sadkowski, FM Arben Dardha, FM Marc Lacrosse and Sigiswald Barbier, after the whole group finished the event at 6,5 points.
