Ponomariov wins Villarrobledo 2007
Ruslan Ponomariov won the Villarrobledo 2007 on tie break over Dreev and Topalov. Ivanchuk is 4th with 7.0.
Great expectations were put on the 6th round game between Cheparinov and Topalov, however it finished in a fast draw. Later on Cheparinov could grab some victories, but lost his last round game against Ivanchuk. Vassily was leading yesterday with 5/5, but today he did not manage to materialize all advantages and remained 4th in the table. Here are the standings of the first 49 out of 169 players:
