Stephanie Pitcher, a college student from Utah, a participant in the 1st annual Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls, is a proud advocate for girl’s chess. She volunteered countless hours in her home state Utah to assist and motivate other girls to play chess.
She is now helping girls learn chess at the Nashville Chess Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Stephanie is the SPF role model of the month. At Stephanie’s request, the SPF will be a proud sponsor of an all girl’s tournament that Stephanie is organizing later this month at the Nashville Chess Center.
